Brno as the “capital of VINCI Energies” in the Czech Republic. This was one of the reasons why two of VINCI Energies’ most senior men for the world and Central and Eastern Europe – VINCI Energies President Arnaud Grison and VINCI Energies Europe East Director Reinhard Schlemmer – came to visit the South Moravian capital. The visit was accompanied by Eric Devigne, Director for Central Europe, and Ladislav Urban, Regional Director.

Brno’s position as one of the most important cities on the Central European map of VINCI Energies has been strengthened by the autumn acquisition of Infotel, one of the Czech leaders in the field of fixed infrastructure for telecommunications. It joins VARS BRNO and AXIANS ICT CZ. “We now have more than 500 employees in Brno,” emphasised Ladislav Urban, Regional Director of VINCI Energies.

The evening meeting in the replica of the functionalist Zeman’s café became the first occasion when the broader management of all three Brno companies could meet. The informal evening was thematically complemented by a lecture on the phenomenon of Brno functionalism and a jazz concert.
