The Budějovice dispatching centre from VARS in the view of the expert public

České Budějovice became the centre of Czech road racing for two days. One of the attractive topics that attracted traffic experts from all over Central Europe was a visit to the Traffic Information Control Centre in České Budějovice. Check out the photo gallery from the visit of the delegates of the 31st Road Conference.

The Traffic Information and Control Centre of České Budějovice is the most modern control centre that VARS has built. It is based on a completely new generation of the SMARTiC system, which is designed to manage traffic even in much larger metropolises than České Budějovice. The dispatching system was put into operation in spring last year and during that time hundreds of thousands of traffic information have passed through it.

The delegates of the 31st Road Conference were guided through the dispatching centre by the most competent people – Lubomír Bureš, Deputy Mayor of České Budějovice, and Petr Jaroš from the Department of Transport Planning, Management and Strategy, and Radek Filip and Jan Balíček from the Transport Company of České Budějovice. On behalf of VARS, the delegates were guided through the dispatching system by Ondřej Pokorný, Sales Director, and Hana Klusáková, Head of SW Solution Support.
